It’s not just voice over – it’s teaching

K-12 Demos

Inspired by both her background and degree in performance and education, Holly approaches each e-learning and voice acting task from the perspective of the student. Her passion for teaching comes through in all of her K-12 narration. As a lifelong lover of learning, she brings the excitement of discovery that students need to stay engaged.

Using her wide range of vocal abilities and vast array of character voices (from kids to magical creatures), Holly puts in so much more than a simple script reading. You can leverage her expertise for your videos, apps, or as a host for your online learning. Adding a professional female voice talent to your e-learning project creates a new focal point to help kids follow along and stay absorbed.

Engaging e-learning, at any age

Holly’s experience in education goes far beyond the elementary classroom. She has spent time as a Guest Artist at colleges or universities and as an expert in Arts Education and Community Practice for professional development seminars.

Adult Learning

For adults, she draws on her training in narrating fiction to tell a story and keep the audience on task. Holly connects both with the material and the listener. By incorporating her voice over into your adult education, explainer video, or professional development, you know that your ideas are narrated clearly – and adults like being engaged too.

Weave a rich, textured voice into your piece to see how much more interested your students become about any subject.

Bringing artistry to the classroom

Chaos theory. Travelogues. Titus Andronicus. For more than two decades, Holly has brought these learning concepts and so many others to life through performances created with children. Partnering with schools around the country and even the world, she integrates an arts-at-the-core, inquiry-based approach to curricula in elementary and high schools and sees incredible results in her students. Best of all, she loves every minute of working with them.

Holly can work with you to create a piece around any major topic to connect with young students in person or on video. Using performance modalities also brings inclusivity to the classroom and allows all students – including those with learning differences – to engage with the material.

Every project uses Holly’s many experiences. Her projects have spanned the globe, and she has taught and performed across cultures, learning styles, and classroom set ups. As an artist-in-residence for schools and universities, she links academic and arts curricula while addressing socio-cultural challenges.

Testimonial

“Working with Holly Adams is nothing short of transformative – a joy for the mind, heart, and spirit!

To see Holly connect her skills as a teacher, actor, director, and artist with students of all ages is an extraordinary experience. In the 16 years we have worked together, she continues to help us all see more through her creative energy and vision. Of the many projects we have worked on together at The Johnson Museum of Art there hasn’t been an experience that wasn’t filled with discovery, inspiration, and engagement for every age.

Even throughout the pandemic and the challenges of virtual teaching, Holly has found unique ways to engage our youngest audiences with works of art through

imaginative movement and creative exploration in her video series for Kids Discover the Trail prek students.

She is a master – teaching artist, partner and a community resource without peer!”
